Our History

The Ghana Network Operators Group (GhNOG) is a community of network professionals, engineers, and IT experts committed to building Ghana’s Internet infrastructure and security.
Founded in 2009 under the Africa Network Operators Group (AfNOG) E0 Localization Program, GhNOG delivers hands-on technical workshops and collaborative forums that bring together stakeholders from academia, government, industry, and civil society.
In 2025, as we celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Internet in Ghana, GhNOG continues to empower professionals through training in Scalable Network Infrastructure, CSIRT operations, network management, and emerging Internet technologies.
